As you turn right at
traffic light #5 in Gatlinburg which is 21.6 miles from exit 407 you
enter into the Ripley's Aquarium drive. There is ample paid past the
aquarium for tourists, tour buses and trolleys for a small parking
fee. The walk to the aquarium is just a short distance from the
parking area. Walking up the steps to buy your tickets you will find
the prices are very reasonable. PRICES are as follows: Adult $17.95
plus tax, CHILDREN (ages 6-11) $9.95 plus tax, CHILDREN (ages 2-5)
$3.95 plus tax and under 2 free.
Walking into the lobby of the
aquarium you will find the customer service desk, lockers for rent,
a free standing huge aquarium.
Looking down towards the sunken level on your left is the main
exhibit area with horseshoe
crab petting area, a pop-up
aquarium area where a person can pop-up in the middle of
the aquariums, and a treasure chest island are., The
first walk through is the Tropical Rain Forest and an awesome display of a beautiful water
fall. This section has fresh water stingrays, piranhas
and all kinds of tropical fish along with a Green
